How it Works

How the Card-Lock system works

Card is inserted

Every vehicle in your fleet is issued a network Access Card. The card is encoded with restrictions based on your fuel purchasing policies (grade of fuel allowed, gallons allowed, time of day and day of week allowed, and many others).

By assigning the card to a specific Vehicle, we track odometer and MPG to help you monitor driver habits and prevent misuse of the card. At Pacific Pride sites, we limit the transaction to the type of fuel required by the vehicle (if the truck runs on Diesel, we’ll make sure your driver can’t buy Gas!)

Your Driver inserts the card and enters his unique DIN (Driver ID Number). The Driver enters the odometer reading for the vehicle, and selects the grade of fuel he wants. All Pacific Pride stations have diesel fuel.

Your Driver only needs to remember one DIN. His DIN will work with every Vehicle Card in your Fleet!

Your driver can also use his card to purchase motor oil and DEF. Auxiliary supplies include air, water and window cleaning equipment. At some locations scales and truck washing equipment are available.

You have the option to restrict purchases of misc items at Pacific Pride sites, if you wish to do so.

Access Fueling Data Online
Access Fueling Data Online
Once the fueling transaction is complete, the data is recorded and will be available via our website. We offer flexible user defined reporting that brings transparency to your fueling activity.

• Quickly identify who, what and where, allowing efficient analysis of your fuel purchases.

• Track important variables such as location, vehicle, driver, time and day, miles per gallon, cost per mile, and expose unusual activity.

Your fleet purchases are consolidated on a single, easy to read billing statement. Electronic data can be downloaded for use in your fleet management software or other programs (such as Excel).
